My car will not start??????? My passenger side manifold where it meets the
x-pipe has been leaking condensation for a couple days.
Could the water have leaked or spued on the starter???
I heard the starter is on the passenger side near the x-pipe?
The car has plenty of battery. The lights and gauges come on but it acts like
I dont have the clutch in.
Can someone help????

could be the neutral safty switch. Try turning the key with the clutch up (nothing should happen). Then while turning the key in the start position (and holding it), push the clutch in. When it hits the floor you should hear a clik (and the lights may dim a bit). This tells you that the switch is working and your starter is getting power. If its not cranking the starter is your problem. Another quick way to tell is to tap the solonoid on the starter with a wrench then give it a crank. If it kicks over the problem lays in the starter. For what its worth, i have a 1990 Ford Probe and whenever it is damp overnight, i have the exact sam problem as you. Usually either rocking the car a bit, or tapping the solonoid does the trick!
