They are the glue on...like the ones I did use. Most important is take some time and really work a good test fit. Likely you'll find for your car or your moldings, some material may need to be removed or cut back to look "perfect" for you. The gentleman who did install mine while the car was being painted threw out the adhesive supplied with the moldings and used a stronger comercial grade product...and I will say they are not leaving the car without effort. Final fit took about an hour per side and given 24 hours to cure. Yes the moldings are overlays but they do NOT sit high enough to grab your attention...the only way people might spend too much time paying them attention is is the rest of your trim is in poor enough condition that the shine of the new moldings draws their eye. On my car their finish just excellent..I know this because the have never been noticed by anyone who's looking the car over, not persective buyers (glad I pulled the plug on that idea) freinds or the car show crowd. If available and I do repaint, I will definately grab a 'new' set of replacement windows, but like I said these can be made to fit really well and cost hundreds less.

Joey 5.0, do you know if they are the direct replacement moldings or are these the ones you just glue on top of the existing molding(like the ones they sell at 50resto)?
