when i was underneath my car i noticed a couple broken wires on my o2 sensor wiring harness going to the driver side banks o2 sensor. looks like it got burnt and covered in oil.

Would that possibly be the cause of my engine picking up code 41 and 91?

I'm sure that sounds like the 91...

When you replace the harness, be sure to use one from a Mustang that has the same type transmission as your car.

I will. so could that be the cause of my 41/91 codes. maybe the harness shorted out?

That will definitely cause problems with the codes 41/91.
