courtesy lights

Hi all the courtesy lights on my rear view mirror are always on!, I checked the fuses and they all seemed fine. Any suggestions?

Balance the little toggle switch to where it is in the middle of the two switch settings. The lights should go off then.

I'm not sure. Mine have been like that for four years. No problems from it that I can tell.
