I just picked up a 5 incher cowl hood and the opening in the cowl is ridiculously large. The car is my daily driver but not really, I drive my truck when its ugly out. Basically I only drive it on nice days. I think the motor would be ok and would just benefit form the air circulation. Also the car isnt carbureted. I was wondering what you guys think about driving this car with that biga$$ hole in the cowl.

I personally just like the look of the notch with a big cowl on it. I was going to get a 6" but they only sold them as a lift off. Here's how she looks from the front.
