Crack in valve cover...

It seems on working on my car today i removed my intake pipe and noticed some oil towards the front of the valve cover on the right side. Upon further inspection its a crack in my valve cover, not really a crack but its like something hit it there, the material looks and feels like fiberglass or something of the sort.
The leak is very very small, hardly any oil around it or below it. What do ya'll think?

How did that happen?
If it is leaking oil I would get a new valve cover soon.

No clue, like i said the leak is veeery little.
