Did anyone see the the crank driven supercharger in 5.0 mag? Or was I just seeing things? I'm too poor to buy the mag, anyone have any info on it, or know what I'm talking about?

Yep, I seen it... spent over an hour trying to contemplate how it would fit and still have room for a fan and everything else. Oh well, I would love to see one in person.. looks very interesting... no more belt slip

Yea..I saw that ad for that too. I don't know how that would work. Its sticks out so far it seems like you'd need a custom radiator or something. Seems too complicated to me. I'll stick with my belt driven Vortech.

I honestly think the blower was exagerrated in the picture... there is no way its that big compared to the engine in person.... or maybe it is

anyways, yes, complicated it looks... My vortech is doing is job just fine

My impression was that it's not intended for street apps. Looke like it was more intended for stip use where a large blower might be otherwise coupled to a race engine where a rediculous amount of belt tension would cause sideways stresses on the crank.

Along with the crank driven sc, has anyone heard anything about vortechs' new flywheel driven supercharger?
