anyone have a crate motor? I need some recomendations. or know where are some good places to look for one. I'm looking for a 351w. All I have now is a bare block, and I'm not sure if it's any good. was wondering if it would be better(or cheaper) to get a crate motor or start from scratch and have one rebuilt.

This is probably a dumb question, but what is the difference between short and long blocks.

Short block doesnt have the heads on it. I dont think they come with the oil pump either. Long block comes with both.

try Keith Kraft
