I started an upgrade on my 87 5.0 to mass air.I pulled the computer and it says"3.0L TAURUS/SABLE ONLY"Car ran good?!@#$!#$?

Yeah some of them say that. It's the factory computer don't worry

That EEC works fine (and was not uncommon to find in a fox in the SD days).

The Crown Vics EEC's say that too and we all know they won't work with a 5.0 H.O setup. It would be interesting to find out the reason it is listed that way would'nt it?

The car ran damn good too.I do notice a diffrence with mass air and a a9p computer

same as mine ,an X0X ecu code that for 87-93 4clynder mustang on 1991 8 cylinder mustang and run strong....
