Cruise Control Reset

The cruise control on my 2002 GT quit working after I inadvertently pulled the fuse. (The cord on my radar detector shorted out & I was fumbling around in the dark trying to replace the fuse on the 12v outlet.) I've already tried disconnecting the battery. What should I do next?

It shouldn't do that. What is the difference between pulling the fuse and disconnecting the battery? Nothing. It should still work. Make sure you check that the fuse is in right and in the correct slot. It is maybe a little mistake like that. Also, you have have put too small of one back in if you got mixed up. It may have blown because it was too small (put wrong on in its place) or it could have broken when you took it out. Replace the fuse and see if it works. If that is not it, I am stumped.

I assume you're trying it on your normal route, but just as a FYI cruise control wont turn on below 35mph...

I set mine at 30mph all the time on the way to work..
