Are you happy with the cruise control on the Mustang?
I currently have an Escape and the cruise control is not the greatest.
It will allow your speed to vary by 5-10 mph on even the slightest of grades.

I'm hoping the Mustang will be better.

best I have had in a car. excellent. will hold speed no problem........

I have noticed this on my 04 F150. At the end of a long grade is really bad, very slow to resond at bottom of hill and maintain the speed setpoint. It is really annoying if there is a hill going up at the bottom, can lose 5-10 mph.

As for the Mustang I have not experienced the problem, although I only have a small number of hwy miles and alot of that is without the cruise.

I find mine holds speed really well going on the flat & uphill but down steeper hills it allows the speed to increase by up to 10 Kmh. Not that there are that many hills in Saskatchewan so it's not a big issue.

Same thing with mine.. Flat and up hills.. It is rock steady.. Down hill, it will speed up... But what can you ask of it,, except to close the throttle.. After that it's up to gravity, and or applying the brakes.. Which as far as I know,, the cruise control can not control.
