Anyone had an exhaust shop do custom mid pipes?

If so, what kind? H? K?

Also, has anyone ever tried straight back, no connections in the mids? Just header to muffler on each side.

Please let me know. If you had someone custom fab it, how much did it cost?

Dr Gas offers a kit that is Weld together so it is somewhat custom fit. The H and X help equal out the pulses in the exhaust and should perform much better then straight pipes.

$100+ $7 tax...

thats what I just got quoted for custom 2.5" H-pipe...no cats at local exhaust/muffler shop. So my car is there right now getting outfitted with their setup.

Am I going to have a check engine light from the O2 sensors? They are maintaining O2s and the smog pump hookups.

Nevermind on the MIL issue. finally found a thread just searching "MIL" instead of "MIL eliminators" and found out I don't need it, only the modular guys do.

Woohoo, MORE POWER! Thanks.

Wow!

They look great. They sound great. And the bottleneck between the headers and mufflers is gone, so WOW.

I suggest that you all go to your local shop and see how much they will do yours for instead of paying big money for the brand name.

Custom H-Pipe = $107, parts, labor and tax. They said they'd never do them for that little anymore though - welding the joint up at the headers was annoying they said.
