- Has anyone ever made one?
- What are the materials needed? (plywood? cloth covering? etc.)
- Anyone have any specifications on dimensions or anything?
- Helpful hints/tips?

Thinking about doing this mod, but dont want to spend $150+ on a rear seat delete kit I'm sure I have more than enough tools for the job, so just wanting peoples pictures and opinions. Thanks

Umm, so needless to say im selling my rear seats Grey leather, mint, no scratches, marks, cuts or stains.

Depends on how nice you want it to look.

A SawZall and 20 minutes worth of labor would probably be the most efficient rear seat delete.

yeah thats what i plan on doing. Buy plywood, cutting it out, covering it in carpet.

One guy i remember used to put plexiglass emblems like GT or SVT in the plywood and they would light up. It was pretty cool, i could easily do the same. Wonder if anyone knows that post...

My seat delete

Hear is some shots of my rear seat delete,..it's made out of aluminum and the carpeting is held on with dome fasteners. The aluminum is removeable and held in place with Dzus fasteners,...

Do you think taking the rear seats out would depreciate the value of the car if you were to sell it?

Thinkt he resale value would decrease ONLY to your "average-day joe", or even to other mustang enthusiasts looking for a car.

I haven't fully decided on the delete kit yet, and IF i do that, i want to sell the seats for money...so...but i want to sell my car (possibly). What do you guys think?

I kept my seats so i can slap them back in if i need to carry passengers..this comes out with 2 screws. folds up at the bottom with storage (where the amps are now)..pretty simple.

$10 cheapest presswood at lowes, $8 roll of carpet from walmart, staple it all in place..
Made the cutout with a jigsaw/dremel

The hydraulic pump for the top is still there because i need longer lines to hide that thing somewhere else.

I need to get the right rear inside moulding out to replace the seat belt (rats chewed 1/4 way through it . Does the bottom cushion push back to release from the clips, or pull forward?
