So I saved my hard earned $$ up and last thursday I ordered the T56 conversion for my 88GT . They said I would have it in about a week. So Yesterday when nothing showed up I called just to make sure everything was ok and they told me that they were waiting on my transmission to come in that they were out of stock but it should be in to them anyday now!! So it will be at least next week before I get it .
This great service for a purchase of 2875.00, they could have at least told me they were out of stock before I placed the order.

Sorry I had to rant

sometimes things happen, this is a small matter. Just be patient its not gonna kill you to wait a couple days.

same exact thing happened to my buddy with the same exact company when he ordered the same exact thing. kinda wierd but i guess if enough people are ordering them than they are going to be out of stock right when they get them in. plan to wait atleast another 2 weeks before you see the tranny

I've been reading some negative things about D&D in the last month.

Sorry to hear that. I bought a TKO 600 from them, along with a clutch. It showed up 4 days after I placed my order. Not bad considering it had to go from Michigan to Florida. They were also very helpful when I called back with questions.

That does suck.

It would be so nice if either they would tell you ahead of time or not charge until the item has shipped. I have bought lots of car parts for restoring classic Mustangs and most places will either let you know or they will ship out what they have, bill you for it and then ship out the backordered stuff and bill for it when it ships and not charge extra shipping for the backordered stuff that had to ship later.

Hopefully you will get the trans soon.

The people I know who've dealt with D&D have been treated well.
