I just got an 07 Lincoln MKZ and love it. Gets good MPG (around 20 right now, all in town), very roomy, ride quite and smooth, and is AWD.

Chrysler 300M. 4 doors, spacious, decent handling, quite a few luxury appointments, AutoStick for when you get the feel for "spirited" driving. Then again, It's not quite stock either! It's been an all around great car.

Sweet, I also have a 300M, it has 92k miles and it's been a pretty solid car! What mods have you done? The only mod I'd like to do is remove the damn top speed limiter.

personally i think the 300M and intrepid are hideous cars, but i respect them very much as my brother owned one, got in a pretty bad wreck and walked out with only a slightly sore body.

What year is it? Mine's a '99. 99-01 has separate computers for the tranny and engine but 02-04 have a combined unit. If it is 99-01, you can get your pcm flashed with the Kenne Bell Optimizer II which removes torque management, firms/shortens shiftpoints, removes/raises speed limiter, and adds 10hp at the wheels. I know 10hp doesn't sound like much, but the firmer shifts and removed torque management really make a difference. I can chirp 2nd gear all day long whether in auto mode or autostick. If you have 02-04, I beleive the only option available is from B&G Chrysler. I have heard results from one person on this but he was happy.

So far I have:
K&N FIPK
True dual 2 1/4 exhaust with a custom x-pipe and magnaflow mufflers
3.89 gears (from a 300M Special or Dodge Intrepid 2.7)
Transmission computer from a 2.7L Intrepid (to adjust the speedo for the gears + raised rpm shifts)
Kenne Bell Optimizer II
Custom 160* t-stat (necessary for the KB Opt II due to fan mapping)
ASP Underdrive Pulley
300M Special rear sway bar
X-drilled slotted rotors with Greenstuff pads

I also have in my possesion and waiting for installation:
68mm TB
Custom 3/8 intake spacer
KYB struts (will install with Eibach springs when I get them)

I have a few other appearance and electronic mods but I won't go into those.

You might want to check out www.300mclub.org sometime.

98-04 Buick Regal GS

the pre-'00 are going for 2500-5000 in my area. Pulley, intake, exhuast, and tune will wake it up.

Mine's a 2004, so it sounds like my options are quite limited compared to you. It's not every day you come across a modded 300M. I was behind a 300M special the other day with some sort of exhaust work done to it and it sounded badass! Made me wish I had the special model instead. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do some work to this car but it would be wasted money when I'd rather be doing it to the Mustang.

Thanks for the link, I'll be sure to check out the club!

Mine is a 07 Lexus IS 250. I love this car, I can get 30mpg in the city, handling and braking is awesome for a stock car, and its dead nuts reliable. They are kind of expensive but you get what you pay for, something I can't say for those fords I work on everyday.
