i installed my new ford motorsorts ceramic headers a while back. i cannot get rid of a leak on the collector to save my life....is there anything i can put around the collector ball to get it to seal?

All i can recommend is loosen it and bring the flange down evenly using the bolts. If it gets crooked sideways it can cause a leak. I don't know of anything other than that heat wrap stuff that you can put on that.

I took the passeger side h-pipe off and beat the flange with a hammer to straighten it out. I also put a small bead of silicone "high temp" gasket maker stuff, around the edge of the collector, and it worked for me. Good luck man, i know how you feel, its a pain in the butt

Undo the collector, slide 1 in and snug it up...cured mine...been using em for couple years....
As you can see from my flanges, they been reefed on to help cure it before i tried the gaskets...there only .070 thick, have Alum inner wrapped around the gasket..they last pretty decent...
