Well this wasn't really a cam question thread just me complaining that I can't stop modding this thing..lol
The cam I run was good for my 302, but with the 331 it just isn't cutting it. The cam has made good #'s and pushed me down the track ok..but I know their is hp tied up thier.
It is pretty much a E cam with a 114 LSA. It's a Crane custom..(.498/220/114) yeah yeah don't laugh..I wanna run something in the .540-.550 lift, and with the duration fav. the exh side. I've been looking at the TFS stage 2, some of the comp cams, and maybe even another custom grind from Ed or a AFM cam. Since I had my heads ported (month or two ago) I had the good springs put in, so running a good cam is no prob. I've had great results with my cam, and it is gonna be for sale here most likely pretty soon along with my Crane gold 1.7's It's actually .528 with the 1.7's.
I'd see 15-20rwhp easy with something that suits my combo better.
i say just for the heck of it send Ed C an email, or give him a call. It can't hurt and he will for sure discuss the subject with you. I'm sure he could throw something together for you that would be exactly what your looking for.
