Heck with some "New Finish" automotive polish and a buffer that car would look showroom new

Illinois tags = rust monster. Bought my vert for 200 swapped in the 5.0 re did the interior changed the wheels repaired minor rust and still only spent a grand total from start to finish. That thing there will never see the road again nor should it.

it isnt rust. it is paint that looks like rust so it can fit in. comes right off with thinner.

Man for that car you would need to buy another roller car to replace the whole body with and in that case you mine as well use the roller as your true project car.

Yeah but some fool will buy that for $1000 and think he is some kind of master haggler because he just got that car for half of what the guy was asking. I knew a guy that would sell cars like that, put the price way up there, accept 1/3 of his asking price, which was still too much, and watch the buyer think he got some kind of great deal.

I seriously doubt the one in that pic would even be useful as a parts car.

I've done that on CL a few times, double the price and let people talk me down to what I really wanted to get out of it. Works pretty well on people who think they're pulling one over on you
