Ahhhh! Does anyone else here deal with them? I have lived in Tampa for many years, but I have never seen them this bad...ever! Basically, "lovebugs" for those who are unaware, are two bugs stuck together (mating in the air), and when they hit your car, their guts stick, and it's basically hell to get them off the paint and winshield. There is a three day window period, and if you don't remove them from your car, then they'll eat right through your paint!

Regardless of where you go, you'll spend 20+ minutes removing them!

We can't wait to move back to Arizona next year.

Wax your windshield and spray pam cooking spray on the front bumper daily. They will hose off pretty easily then.

Yeah, I deal with them pretty nasty here in Jacksonville too. It's such a hassle, and I have so many rock chips on my front anyway.. I wouldnt worry about the hassle of spraying pam everyday.

I hate lovebug season and pollen season.

Pollen = bad on black cars
Lovebugs = really bad on white cars

I hate them, everyday when I come home from work the first thing I do is wash off my car. I try to keep my day driving down to the minimum right now until those little bastards are gone.

A while ago a seagull flew up from under a bridge and hit the windshield of my BMW going 80 on the highway. That sucks too.

Do you guys really spray PAM on your cars?

IDK about the Pam on the car...

I just take some paper towels and wipe them off and wash the whole car like 3 times a week now...hopefully they will be gone by the middle of June, I'm taking the stang on a roadtrip and my sisters wedding.
