dash veneer

anyone know where I can buy a sheet of aluminum veneer to use for my dash and doors? Thanks.

Have you looked in your phonebook?
There is a metal fab shop near me tha has differnet stock on hand that can make just about anything.
I made up a paper template for a RV showerpan and they made it from that.
Couldn't get a replacement even from the factory.

Just a thought.

I have the metal. I'm looking for the real thin stuff with an adhesive backing folks use for dashes, etc.

Find a shop that can cut the real thin stuff for you and then just glue it down. The adhesive on the back of what you want is going to be something by 3M anyway. Buy the same 3M glue and glue it down yourself. If you don't know which one to get, call 3M and 'splain your application and they will recommend the right glue for the job.

HHStang,

I would like to see pics of this aluminum veneer installed when you figure it all out.

I am going with carbon fiber on my 69 Mach 1. Where there is the wood grain vinyl (instrument panel, door panels, and dash above the glove box), there will be carbon fiber. The only thing is that I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to make a pattern for my new 6 gauge instrument panel.
