You can buy correct brushed aluminum replacements... or are you going custom?

Have you looked in your phonebook?
There is a metal fab shop near me tha has differnet stock on hand that can make just about anything.
I made up a paper template for a RV showerpan and they made it from that.
Couldn't get a replacement even from the factory.

Just a thought.

All the compnaies sell 'em. NPD, CJ's etc, etc, etc. There is a set or two up on ebay right now.

Thanks, but these are all precut for specific cars. I want the material so I can do doors and center dash gauges on my 72.

Sorry, thought it was for the '67. You may have to have the fabricated. 72 is a tough year to find resto products.

Find a shop that can cut the real thin stuff for you and then just glue it down. The adhesive on the back of what you want is going to be something by 3M anyway. Buy the same 3M glue and glue it down yourself. If you don't know which one to get, call 3M and 'splain your application and they will recommend the right glue for the job.

I am going with carbon fiber on my 69 Mach 1. Where there is the wood grain vinyl (instrument panel, door panels, and dash above the glove box), there will be carbon fiber. The only thing is that I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to make a pattern for my new 6 gauge instrument panel.
