dead batter and CheckChargeSystem

I woke up this morning and my car battery was dead. I removed it and took it to Oreily's to have it checked. I went ahead and bought a new battery and my car alive again.


I had to reinstall the tune into my car. After that, I let it run for a few minutes when I noticed something in the odo.

It said Check Charge System. what does this mean? is something f'ed up that will drain my battery?

Get your alternator checked

I pulled up to my gf's garage and checked under the hood. I forgot to connect the 3rd wire onto the battery. Everything runs great now. The battery light hasn't turned on yet and it feels good to go.

I guess I have to wait to see if its my alternator. Or maybe the battery just sucked.
