I am about to purchase the Accufab Plenum , but have a question about the throttle body. i curently have the BBK 70mm TB. Should i stay with it or bump it up to an accufab 75mm TB. Any input is greatly appreciated.

stay with the 70mm. the accufab actually loses airflow with the 75mm. flows 628cfm with 70mm and like 618cfm with 75mm.

Actually, Accufab has just redesigned their plemums and they have a full 75mm opening, previously a 70. Thus, it should flow better with a 75mm tb. I think the new flow numbers are on their site.

Naw you will be Fine you only should go with a 75mm if you use a S/C so 70mm to a accufab Plenum will be fine..

Yeahh...thats what I'll do. My engine has over 73,000 miles on it and i don't think it can take the amount of air induction that a S/C will produce.

Personally, I too would stick with the 70 since you already have one. I was just informing you about the new plenums that are now 75mm.

Accufab told us a few days ago the flow numbers were, or were going to be soon, posted on their site - I've not checked - sorry!

thanks man. it will look alot better when I get it lowered next week.

it has yet to be seen on a stock car whether the 75mm accufab outperforms the 70mm. the preliminary flow numbers I have seen on it are identical. the data will be coming but I am having a hard time buying that much of a difference.

Accufab 70MM plenum only........619
with 70MM TB.............................628
with 75MM TB.............................614

Accufab 75MM plenum only.........680
