Someone offered me a new never been used set of Steeda UD Pullies for $100. These are usually selling at $189. Think it's a deal for a $100 or not?

not worth the time to install IMO.
1-3 RWHP gain isnt worth $100.

according to your mod list you dont have a mid pipe. that $100 will get you half way to a UPR off road x pipe where you can get some noticable power and sound

Make sure they are for your year aswell.

I run them on my car and don't believe that 1-3 claim is correct.

I have a pypes o/r X waiting to be installed No time right now because family is over for Xmas.

Yeah, it's for my year mid 01-04 steeda pullies. How much power do you feel with them? Any problems with them also?

Id get them. I picked up a tenth and close to 1mph with them.

I also noticed an improvement at the track with mine. Car seems to spin a bit more freely. Don't expect a major difference, though it can be noticed.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting a dramatic gain with them but for a $100 I thought it would be a little bang for the buck.

$100 isn't bad for them and the install isn't tough either. Do you have access to an impact?

I could borrow one from a buddy. I mine as well replace the belt too. It's starting to show some wear on them.

Yeah, replacing the belt isn't a bad idea. I always keep a spare belt in my car since you never know what will happen so don't throw away the stocker

You can change the pulleys in 30 minutes or so

That isn't a bad idea at all keeping a spare belt. I'll just watch the "How to" video for the pulley install Thanks for the feedback man, I really appreciate it.

of course that's a good deal so long as they fit your application. i underdrove a v6 some years ago and could actually feel a difference. (i usually can't tell a difference with bolt ons). not only that, but your mpg will improve and could make up the 100$ + belt price + install eventually (a year or more? ) so long as they are 25% or less UD, your access. should be fine. i haven't heard of many problems on street cars with 25%. 50% is a different story.

Love mine , car seemed to rev alot faster w/ them installed. And theyre not really that big of a pain to install. Just remove the fan shroud and use an impact on the harmonic balancer.

So I locked the deal with the guy about the set of new Steeda UD pulleys last night and he sold them to me for $75 Should be here early next week
