jako92's car is very clean, but there's something about seeing an aero fox with a carburetor that kills a part of me. I should probably go hide now, talk like that is probably grounds for dismissal.

:hide:

Yeah that is a hella clean engine bay.

<----has engine bay envy :D

I really need to get some better pics of mine. She really is a beauty! The engine bay needs a little work. I need to read on how you guys hide all the wires and stuff. That makes a huge difference.

Of course only having a carb'd engine in there does simply things too :p

Nice looking cards fella's. :)

Yeah, hiding wires is cool, but I like the stock look too as long as it's clean. My 5.0L notch didn't have a very clean engine bay at all. Coupes was similar being they were both stock, but his is waayy cleaner than what mine was.

I really don't want to have to worry about welding and repainting the bay.

On mine its just some parts that are original still and just wore out. Like the reservoir for the power steering pump, its just nasty....the alt is pretty dingy....stuff like that.

I could get in there with a tooth brush and q-tips and really polish every nook and cranny of the painted services, but some would just need replacing or repainting.

My intake was the biggest problem on my 5.0L. It needed to be pulled off and repainted silver. It had permanent stains on it. The power washer, laquer thinner, Greased Lightning, Simple Green....nothing would clean them off. I just didn't want to go through the hassle and buy gaskets and stuff. There were no leaks, so I left it alone. haha
