Delete IMRC

Hey Gang,

Anyone have a DIY for deleting the IMRC and what parts and procedure i can do to fix this problem for good. This is my third time have this problem. Its a 98 Cobra. www.lextreme.com/Cobra.htm

Its a fairly simple procedure. Just make sure you get all of the holes filled or you'll have hell to pay with the vacuum leaks.

He has a built motor pushing 18 psi of boost. That much manifold pressure is making it hard for the controller to close the butterfly valves, and he is trashing control boxes as a result. Deleting the system will eliminate this problem, give him a tad more top end power, and potentially make the driveability of the car a little worse (this can usually be tuned around with the chip)
