Delete, Yes or No

My 306 has the "crossover" pipe that goes from cylinder head to cylinder head. My question is: Should I block them off ? Right now they are head to head, but the valve on the passenger side is "blocked" off. The car is not really a street car, mostly weekend racer. If it's "blocked" off is it really serving any function ?

i dont know what it would hurt. i deleted mine so that it looked cleaner under the hood. no problems here

Look into EGR pipe instead of crossover

if the pipe is blocked off on the passenger side and all the pipe is doing is joining the two sides together, then just get rid of the pipe. looks ugly and its dead weight. its part of the smog system

search smog removal, and kill the whole thing, if it is a race call all that stuff should be gone, or if your sate has no emmissions testing....

If you have pulled the cats, then it is ok to remove the air injection system. Do not remove the air pump, or any part of that system if you are running stock type cats. Cats have been known to have very short lives when the air system is defective or removed.
