densecharger opinions???

I was looking at the densecharger CAI's, although I know most on here are for making their cold air intake, I want to also have a little bit of show value to the Intake, so I was looking at a densecharger, and I know some people claim they are the greatest intake ever, but the guy at the local speedshop said they are *****. what is the general consensus?

I think they are a really nice system. If I didn't have a C&L system on mine already I'd put on of those on my car. Quality materials are used and they now offer carbon fiber overlay. They did just switch to Green Filters instead of K&Ns. Claim they make more hp/tq on the dyno.

I had one on my 89. Worked fine, quality was good. I traded it for a mac chrome kit because it looked 10x better. The densecharger had a stockish look to it (which is fine), but it looked kinda weird sticking out of a polished cobra intake + polished tb/egr. I noticed no performance difference vs the mac.

I like it. Here's the problem- The opening on the cai is smaller than that of my MAF. I'm going to ditch it in favor of a home made cai whenever I decide to get off my ass. (never )

I ran one for a few years..no complaints...It works...
Looks wise it had no show value to me...its simple...unless they have the TB to maf pc now available???
All you have is your stock rubber to the exposed MAF, then the 90 sweep into the fenderwell...


I swapped it out for a homemade one....Looks wise i felt it was much nicer than the Dense...

No they don't but it looks better w/carbon fiber touch.

If you go to Densecharger website, youll notice it doesnt work. Thats because DeMolet Motorsports stopped making the Densecharger system and are trying to design something new. Its supposed to be out soon.

Sorry dude but that's wrong. I sell their product. Website changed to :

www.tunableinduction.com or you can use www.demolet.com

Only changes are the Green filters and a lot more systems with Pro-M meters.
New things on the horizon but definitely did not stop production.

Do they not sell the pipe from the t-body to the MAF? They used to have it avaliable in carbon fiber look but I didn't see that piece on there for our 94-95's.

The only carbon fiber looking piece is the piece that covers the fenderwall. Alot of people say the stock cai,with a K&N filter is the way to go.NO WAY,,I have one and noticed a huge difference in performance and sound
