Anyone on the front range have a body shop they have used and would recommend? I am looking to get estimates for full floor pan replacements.

I do not, sorry. But if you run across a good place post it here, I need my all panels aligned.

Colorado Mustang Charges 45 an hour for bodywork, but I have not seen much their bodywork. What I have seen in the showroom looks great, but that is not customer cars.

Know any places for Electrical? I need blinkers, blower, horn, courtesy lamps figured out. It is driving me crazy.

Oh, are you aware of www.coloradomustang.com ?

They do not seem to have good customerr skills so far, but they do have parts when you need them and a full restoration shop. The auto shop is $85 an hour, I asked.

haha!!! it is funny that you mention that. I called them today, it didn't seem like they were too interested in getting more business!

Thanks, I will have to drop by and check them out.

I used to have the name of a mustang guy in colorado springs but I can't seem to find it. He is the kinda guy who doesn't advertise just gets enough business through word of mouth. I think that he had a one liner in the white pages but I can't remember his name.

Don't use those guys, they are morons.

I recently used Pro Performance in Denver for some engine work and they do body work as well. The owner is named Mike and a pretty good guy. He is on roughly 60th and washington, give him a call.

DO NOT USE Colorado Mustang in Denver. They are "f"ing a$$holes. Try Three G's Auto body off of Brandon Way (Sante Fe Dr.) in Littleton. Performance Mustang off of Federal seems to have a good shop but have never used them.

I need a door reskinned. I am having my father in law hang the quarter and patch the floor since that would cost me a mint. Any of these places reskin a door reasonably. He does not seem to interested in skinning a door.

I have been directed to 3G as well for a body shop. Have you looked into doing the pans yourself? I am changing the front pans in my 67. The cash I saved will more than pay for the mig welder.

Yep I am debating about doing the pans myself but I am back and forth on that one. I have a 110v welder with flux, just need the gas kit for it before I would attempt this repair. I would love to do this, for the cost savings and the experience.

I bought a mig, replacement front pans, and cut out the bad spot on the passenger side so far. I have never used a mig but from what everyone has told me it is not hard to learn with a lot of practice.

I also want to change the skin on my driver's side, weld in some subframe connectors as well as the traction bars so I know the welder will pay for itself.

Man O man. I would love to help out with some of these projects........ This sucks. I am finally running into guys (Virtually) that want to learn what I want to learn. But, I am moving to Erie. Hopefully I can meet some Dudes up that way that want to do some of that stuff. I
