It should come with programs just for your car and mods. The SCT-2 does.

That's BS. You should have gotten an SCT-2.

The Predator should be loaded with a performance tune for the car. It sounds like you don't understang how to use the tuner.

Predator comes loaded with performance calibrations for 87 and 91 octane fuels, made by DiabloSport engineers on our loadable chassis dyno, and thoroughly road tested for performance and drivability. The other programmer does not come with calibrations, they have to be made by a tuner in the field. Which basically means the tune you get is only as good as the dealer you bought the programmer from.

I am sure there are lots of good tuners out there, but keep this in mind when shopping around, ask if they have developed the calibrations on a dyno and how much experience they have in tuning. How long have they been at it, and how many calibrations have they sold for your application. Many will just be auto generating the calibrations with the software they have purchased, which means its not really a custom tune, but a base calibration generated by predetermined strategies in the software meant to be a starting point to use to create custom calibrations on the dyno.

We carefully qualify all CMR custom tuning dealers. We require a dealer to have specific equipment and now you have to receive training on our system to purchase it.

Our programmer has our calibrations, built and tested by us. Our custom tuning dealers can work with you for specific needs due to aftermarket modifications. And the Predator features end-user adjustability, data monitoring and logging as a stand alone unit, no need for a laptop.

Did you buy the right programmer, depends on what you feel your needs are, but we have many features your not going to get anywhere else, and for the same price as the other guys programmer.

Thanks,
