Did 64 galaxies come with 9" rears?

Its a 64 galaxie with a 6.
I know this is probably a no but I figured id ask.
Also, is there any other parts that would be useful on my 66?

The V8 cars did, can't tell you for sure about the 6's. The Galaxie 9's are too wide for a Stang. You'd have to narrow it to work.

BRAKES!!!!!

Those rear drums are the same ones as the 65 Shelbys! GRAB THEM!!!! They bolt right onto early 9" rears. I did this exact swap on the Mach, so it looks stock, but got more braking ability!

well I dont hace a 9 inch rear. Thats why I was hoping the Galaxie had one. I know it came with a six. If its not an 9 inch will it still have the brakes?
How do Identify a 9?
