so i get a bad vibration in the car at 4k rpm's to redline. you can really feel it hard through the shifter. the motor mounts and tranny mount were just changed after i felt this vibration. so that wasnt it. it does this in neutal and with the clutch in so i know its not the driveshaft. the motor does not shake at all so i know its not the motor. would this be the input or the output shaft? this all happened when i went to downshift from 5th to 4th and it started to do it when it hit 4th. does this is every gear

have you checked the balancer...i would ensure the balancer rubber section has not tore or slipped.

my car does the same exact thing and I haven't been able to figure it out. I'm assuming its the tranny itself(shaft might be bent? flywheel? i have no clue lol).. I also replaced the driveshaft, motor/tranny mounts, balancer after this happened and none of it has fixed the problem. It's been like this for awhile now.. let me know what u find! Does your shifter shake when your idling as well?

seems to me if the input shaft doesn anything, it will snap in two and the car won't move. I'm having a similar vibe problem and I'm suspecting my clutch. I will know for sure soon. I'm thinking a piece of the disc might have broken off and thus causing an imbalance, that or the pilot bearing is messed up.
