Did i put the starter in wrong?

Alright guys, I put in a new clutch and now when i turn the key, it makes that sound like the starter is just spinning. Did i not push it all the way in? I put the starter in then just bolted it right up. any suggestions?

Did it mount up OK? No gap between the starter and bellhousing?

It could be the Bendix in your starter not working properly.

not to insult your intelligence but when you put the clutch back together did you put the spacer back in when you removed the fly?

what spacer? do you mean that metal plate?

That metal plate is just to help create a seal to block out debris.

There never was a spacer when i took everything off? whats it look like and about how big?

guess what it was?! Killswitch was on amnit: lol but it feels so good to be done with my clutch after them dam stripped starter bolts and being successful at my first clutch install.
