i was just curious, is there a difference in bbk longtube headers for the fox body or the sn95 5.0's??? besides the egr tube....i know they are labeled for 5speed cars only......i'm gonna install my headers this weekend and i bought some fox body ones because i didn't want to have to mess with the egr tube....

I would say the long tubes would interfer with the auto trans. crossmember???

Other than the EGR bung, I don't think there would be much/any difference.

Maybe doing a search might yield some better answers.

I think the fox headers are longer and will cause ground clearance problems.

BTW ....Summit has a set for our car for $99.00 don't know about quality tho....

:OT:
Is is worth switching from shorties to Long tubes. HP to $$$ does it make sense?

Long tubes will yield more power and a smoother torque curve.

I KNOW if you do a search, you will find some nice threads on LT'S vs. shorties.

yobi1kanobi, with your mods, I'd say long tubes headers would be a good mod.
