diffrences in gt and cobra bottom ends?

Well the block cracking is what I've seen from turbos. They dont put the strain on the crank like a centri blower will.

I just talked to my engine maker today (gettn a new 306). The salesman in him said "you need forged pistons if you wanna spray." Then he said off the record, he sprayed 50-100shots and didn't have any trouble with cars he knew didn't have forged pistons. As long as you don't hold the spray button down for 20 seconds at a time, you'll be fine.

yes i did neglect my HB, i bought a new one (romac) with intentions of putting it on, but couldnt get the thing on because it was too freaking tight....tried heating it, anti-seize, balancer installer ect, it wouldnt go on...so i left it off and put the old back on.... bad idea
i didnt ahve a tool to measure my crank so i could get my HB honed out.....i should have spent the $30 or whatever to get one and have it honed instead look where i am now.

remove:

spare jack
trunk carpet and board
wedges behind rera wheels
dog bone
rear seat delete kit
pop passengers seat into driver position for race day and remove driver seat 54 pounds versus 40 for passenger (i have leather)
carpet sound deadening under carpet shell (makes no sound difference)
bracket under steering wheel above knees
small metal bracket in kick panel by computer
smog and egr delete
fox TB conversion
delete overflow tank and heavy metal brackets and use after market catch can (or convert the windshield wiper sprayer like i did)
this requires relocation of CCRM
if you have an acting windshield wiper sprayer, drain it completely. it weighes nothing itself but the fluid weighs 10 pounds on the nose of the car.
strut tower brace
front sway bar
1 horn (it burned up)
each horn is maybe 2 pounds
rear sway bar broke its off

Money things
X2c drag coilovers. saves like 8 or so pounds
weld prostars 3.5s and 8s with nittos and VW bettle tires
ORH and shorties (cats weigh alot)

long tubes are heavier as my weight went up quite a bit.
with the addition of the P heads which are heavier than e7s and the long tubes i picked up quite a few pounds oh and i gained about 15-20 too (muscle)


GTS options
manual windows
no abs
no cruise
manual door locks
no mach 460 dead weight
boat seats (haha)

Things i added:
i have a cd player with 6 infinity speakers
i have keyless entry power door locks with alarm

i first went 12s on stock heads with a gt40 intake and on pony rims. my raceweight was 3165 for that pass. At the time i was taking outthe 40 pound passenger seat and hadnt removed the sound deadening yet. lightest weight in that form was 2995 without me, so the 14 pound lighter seat, sound deadedning, coilovers, typhoon intake instead of the gt40, and welds accounted for a total loss of about 50 pounds since my lightest raecweight with that stuff was 2945

at those time i was around 155 now i am 175 so if you are a fatty or tall, you aint gonna get that light

shoudl i make a stickey with more emasurements?
