Dakota Digital offers some, but I know a guy that does much better setups with red displays as opposed to dakota's blue... he seemed to have some issue with dakota's quality when I talked to him at a club meeting a while back... anyway i can get you his info if interested.
I've currently got Dakota digital gauges in my 66 coupe and they've been great. No problems with them at all and i've had them in my car for about 10 months. Pretty easy to install yourself, I had no idea at first how to do them but learnt pretty quickly as there straight forward enough. You can get custom colours also and just to let you know the blue is meant to be a little harder to see in direct sunlight but it's still fine to read. I've got the teal and had no problems reading them. Anyway here's a link to there site.
i dont know how old this thread is, but its relevent to my resto mod. Besides the actual dash instrument panel itself, what else would be needed to hook it all up? how would you go from mechanical to electrical?

With my gauges u get a control box which connects to the gauges, all your wiring from lights, power, transmission and senders come back to this control box also. They supply adaptors and senders for oil, temp and speedo cable. To go from mechanical to electrical with the speedo u need to remove your original speedo cable completely, it is replaced by a speedo sensor and adaptor which connects to the transmission, u then run the 2 wires from this back to your control box. The only other items i used apart from what was supplied is some wire and a bunch of wire connectors. Hope this helps u out.
thanks for the feed back. Are you happy with them? they are the cheapest replacement instruments, so i was wondering if they are good. The other sets seem to be high 600-800's with autometer guages. How accurate are the ones in the dakotas?

Yeah i'm definately happy with them, i wanted something that looked different to normal but still had good features with them. There as accurate as u set them up to be really, to calibrate the speedo u just drive a measured mile and your set to go. If u have a custom fuel tank u can set them up for that aswell. They have some pretty decent features on them such as trip distance, odometer, service, hours, high rpm, rpm warning, high speed, 1/4 mile time, 0-100 (0-60 for u i guess). There are a few more but can't think what they are.
