i have an 88 5.0 lx prettymuch stock i just put a new motorsports rear end in with disc and did the suspension now for the problem i want to give her more power just not sure which route to go. i have gt40p heads and explorer u&l intake i was thinking about scrapping that plan and getting trick flow h/c/i kit, or putting the gt40p heads and intake on and buying a vortech sq2 kit. please help its time to start thinking about summer i would like to be around 375 to 400 whp. i have a bugget of 4500.00. i want it to be a daily driver though

Personally, I'd keep what you have and spend the money on the blower, a cam and a couple of supporting mods. That ought to put you right in where you want to be and then some. You're not going to get 400 rwhp with just the TF kit by itself.

I agree! With a blower a cam and a dyno tune you could meet your goals.

With your gt40 heades and intake with a blower and cam you should be a little more than 400hp when its done.

id put on what you have and find a decant used s trim....custom grind and a tune!
