I like to know how to take apart the steering column to check my m.f. switch . I got the top panel and bottom panel off I cant get the column covers off to see it. If anyone knows please let me know , thanks.
If you are working on a 87-93 the collar has 2 screws, viewed from underneath, if it is a 87-89 with a tilt column unscrew the lever on the left for the tilt, the collar has small hooks so you need to lightly squeeze the bottom half and it pops apart.
