Anybody know the shaft diameter of the old single point?

I'm trying to select the correct part so I can have a steel gear for the roller cam.

Thanks in advance

i'm pretty sure he has a pertronix on that old junk distributor and he is keeping the carb'd and wants it to look semi-stock

Correct! Except I'm not so concerned with stock appearance, but I'm majorly concerned with saving a couple-several hundred dollars.

Just think, if you went with a Duraspark for an '85 GT, you could use up the savings on gas trying to get the right part from Autozone(long story of mine). Thats the other option BTW; a Duraspark. About $65 for a rebuilt distro and HEI module.
