has anyone here had any experience or have any knowledge on fabricating conductors for cop ignition? I know the stock conductors are little springs which seem pretty flimsy and i've seen the gms and msd versions which have a solid metal rod type conductor. the stuff is so outrageously expensive and it seems like something a crafty person could fabricate w/ the right knowledge and tools for way cheaper!

awesome! that's what i'm talking about, i could afford that. would it be worth a darn performance wise? even if it just made the power band a little smoother or more consistent......?

Installed granatelli cops on my 99 and picked up a good bit.Stock cops would allow mine to get over 4500(only 5k on the cops),installed the new coils and could go to 6700 easily.

There have been proven gains on power adder and n/a cars.Just not sure if everyone wants to spend that kind of money.
