Heres one for the guys who have Saleen replica's and forget to put the Saleen C-Pillars on... I could have spent the big$$ on this piece, but figured it would be much cheaper to make it, out of what i already have, since il be doing a saleen look a like out of this car.

Removale of the C-pillars are quite simple, and basically just required some minor grinding and sanding to form an edge to meet up with the window molding, and rounding the leading edge of the c-pillar ( as the saleens have)
Then painted flat black with Dupli color spray bomb ( 3 coats)

Think they turned out somewhat close to the real deal.. although the real ones are much thicker, and actually extend from the rear glass 1" or so.
and yes, thats a real Saleen in the background.. along with a v6'er

I bought mine from Saleen, they were about 295 dollars plus shipping. THEY WERE ROYAL PEICES OF CHIT. It took hours of sanding, priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, sanding priming, to get them to look right. I still to this day want to take them off and redo them again.

Here is a 8 footer of my car. Notice it's a 96 Cobra, and yes, I put the 99-04 quarter glasses in my car too to follow the lines. Nobody notices this mod because my car is black. They don't fit as good as on the 99-04's, thanks to Saleens junky studs that come with them that break and don't stay tight.

Its been several time I hear they are horrible quality. Im already to the point where im going to cut and contruct out of fiberglass.

But this here. Did the guy just repaint that part flat black?? or did he add some dimension to it?

Most pics aren't available anymore....except the small one above. You could just paint it black, but there is actually an indentation. You could probably just shave them down a little, but that molding isn't too thick, so be careful.

He hasn't responded, but I will. Yes, it sounds like sex. It sounds like the hot neighbor you've always wanted to see naked having sex!

On a serious note, yes, it is very loud. He was driving next to me revving it up on the WWDC 2005, and it was frickin loud. A nice loud.

Yes my car sounds like sex.
Ask Jay why he chose his setup.

I miss Woodward and Telegraph.

I don't miss the snow though.
