Do i need a new driveshaft?

I am only planning on city and higway driving, the car at most will hit 120, do i need a aftermarket driveshaft or is my original fine.

I see no reason to replace it, do you? What I mean is, what made you ask?

well i just thought that a stock driveshaft from the sixties would start vibrating like crazy at higher speeds

I dunno man, I'm still using my original shaft. It does vibrate but it didn't before I had it shortened. I'm going to get it rebalanced soon though. Just inspect it visually, might want to replace u-joints for good measure. I assume you're not driving the car currently?
