Do i need caster camber plates?

I ordered maxspeed springs...anyone have these springs and did you need caster camber plates?

I have them and love them!! I dont have caster/camber plates yet but i am getting them. They are HIGHLY Recommended!

if you're not going lower than 1.5", I've seen people get away with it without C/C plates and still have even tire wear.

Otherwise, you'd just need an alignment.

seraphitia...i see that you have "motive whining". Im putting motive 4.10's in this weekend, wondering how it will go...

I have Motive 3.90's and I saw one other guy on here also got 3.90's from them and we all have extreme whining. He got his installed at 3 different places thinking it was the quality of labor, but it still whined.

It could just be a 3.90 thing from Motive.

I've never heard what the gear whining actually sounds like...does it sound like a blower or something bad...also I have a fairly loud exhaust so I little whine may add a little character...whats it sound like(the whine)?

I have a loud exhaust too with LOTS of interior resonance and the whining is still annoying! The whine sounds like a constant howl. It is nothing like supercharger whine.

i have motive 3.90s in mine and they dont whine at all. i did have them expertly installed by ME in my driveway

but YES you need camber plates with almost any spring. i am an alignment tech and i have seen many stock mustangs that cant go into spec with the stock plates.

did you need any special tools to install the motive gears in your driveway? Im definitely hacking my own thread

I have the steeda springs, but would recomend the caster/camber plates with most drops. Diffinetly won't hurt and get a good alignment.

i have a dial indicator to check the backlash. my buddy helped w/ the pinion depth. i also shimmed it again when i put the auburn pro in. still no whine

i have a set off bbk caster cambers if your interested. $75 and there yours. Like new!
