I have a 2009 Black GT as shown in the photo below. The over the top stripes are factory and the door stripes were added at a shop after I bought the car in 2010 when it had 12,000 miles and now has 56,000. I keep thinking about a sale or trade to look for a good 2011 California Special. My '09 is my 6th Mustang but never had a special edition (other than the fact the current one is a 45th anniversary year). I know we can't really answer such questions for each other, but if you have thoughts I would appreciate them. Based primarily on body style, I don't believe I want to go up past 2011, and the Coyote 412 HP is appealing in addition to owning a CS. As a retired guy on a budget, a Shelby or expensive other special Stang are not an option. I realize at some point I could do a present car upgrade, or go back little for an affordable special edition, but I was just wondering if anyone cares to share some ideas. Thanks so much.
