Foxstangs... out of style?

"do lil 2.3 stangs turn heads? "

Clean notches and 'verts turn mine. 2.3 or 5.0.
Would like to have a 2.3 sea-foam green with white int/top 'vert for a driver.
With an eye on a turbo'ed duratech for its' future...

Nice little cars. Even if they do look like something that was styled at Whirlpool...

My 2.3 gets looks all the time, whether they're looking because of the straight pipe dual exhaust or metallic paint job I'll never really know, but I always get compliments on how nice it looks and everyone thinks it's a 5.0, which it will be some day but since I'm only a junior in high school, my funds are kinda limited. Here's some links for pics of my car: http://www.freestatesvtoa.com/modul...ame=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php

I don't think my POS will turn heads. Maybe the noisy lifter, or rattling hatch when listening to music.

Mine does because of the white pony wheels(maroon car), and the front being lowered.

www.50resto.com has the badges along with anything else you probably want for your car as long as it isnt for the engine.

lol sorry to bring this old topic back up, but i get my tags wendsday and so far ive seen 3 people eye my car. ( probably more i didnt see)

My car's paint is dead and not much to look at, its body is real straight and no major dents or anything. My american racing wheels are bad ass!!

Also my friends tell me my stang look like it has a 5.0 in it, because the cool wheels, we got bigger tires in back( we needed to replace so we got some bigger ones to ass a better look.) We also added hoodpins. Its a pretty beefy lil faded paint 4 banger stang.

So far i really love it!!!
Even though its a slow 2.3na with an auto and its makes all kind of funny noises inside ( dinks and stuff) from it being so old.

Cant wait until i get a 5.0 or a 2.3t with a standard!
THAT WILL BE FUN!

My girlfriend is getting me '2.3' emblems for Christmas and hopefully I can get a cheap pair of Ponies or something come Spring. I need to stop my brakes from squeaking like a stuck pig though, it gets quite annoying. Maybe one day I'll get my exahust done!

My paint is real good and I have a slight window tint, honestly, my friends and I were really surprised how much better the car looked after the tint job.

Whether or not my car turns heads, I don't know, but at least if 5-0 (that is, the PO-LICE) turns his head, he'll see a Brand new INSPECTION STICKER! Yep, my poor baby passed inspection, one day late (thank God 5-0 did'nt snag me, he had 24 hrs)!
I hate taking my car to get it inspected, I wish I lived in Florida=NO INSPECTION!

Hey guys, I decided to drop into this forum even though I do not own a 2.3 Foxer.

I have to say that any stang catches my eye, no matter what kind it is, especially if it looks well kept. Any well kept stang, no matter what size engine, gets more respect from me. I see a lot of teenagers (gah I am one too) in rusted out and beat to hell 5.0s.

Anyways, I think a well kept 2.3 is much more unique than a well kept 5.0, since there are so many fewer 2.3s that were well kept over these years.

I get Miatas and BMW 325Is wanting to race all the time. Blow off valves are fun at intersections.

I buy mine one at a time. I got the pads in the garage, and the left rotor, soon I wil get the right and then the seals and the bearings, when you have it all together then do the swap. It is an easy change and can be done in a half hour.
