Do they make Oxygen Sensor extenders?

i just added my BBK long tubes, but the o2 sensor bungs are way further down that they were in the H pipe. Do they make an extender peice that fits in between the sensor and the plug? or should i just splice the wires and make them longer? on stuff like this i would just rather have 1 peice because that computer sh1t is complicated and really dont wanna be messing with that stuff.

well what i didt was just tace back the harnus and youll have to cut the oil sending cencer but that can be reatached when you are done. but i am 100% you dont need to spend a dime to have your o2s reach the long tubes. there is plenty of length. also if you did buy extenders i heard they can cause false readings. hope this helps.

you have to extend them, they are not long enough. i spliced in some wires on mine but i wish i would have bought the extenders. you can get them at just about any mustang performance web site like 5.0 resto or brothers performance.

extending or splicing can cause false readings so i would just go with re routing them.

Yep...just pull the wires back from the harness to get them to where you need to. If you plan to buy new O2's the Bosch models are also available with a longer pigtail.

If you soilder the connection correctly and use the same grade wire you can extend the O2's....just need to do it correctly.

There are aftermarket companies that make o2 harness extenders. Check the 5.0 mags or stang websites.
