Does a 96 cobra have a 351w in it

If not, what does it have, thinking about switching to efi and this guy is parting out a 96 cobra.

the 1996-98 cobras are all 283 4.6 DOHC. they run about 305 hp and the 94-95 have the 302 5.0 SOHC and about 240 hp. but my insurence shot up alot for the 96 so i got the 95(not that it isnt already enough). stupid insurence

Corrections -- the 4.6L is a 281, not 283. And the 5.0L 302 is OHV, not SOHC.

Damn, he beat me to it. Weren't the 94-95 Cobra R's the only ones to sport the 351 in recent years? Or am I wrong on that?

you are corect, im pretty sure it was the last car ford ever put the 351 in stock, an it was the first since the early 70s i think

the 351 isnt even a modular engine. i was wondering where he got the 283 from, but its a simple mistake.

The 95 R was the last one with a 351. There was no R in '94.

The 94-95 cobras had 240...Not the gt's. They had 215 i think but im not sure

That was an underrated 240 horsepower i might add!!!! More like 265
