Does ANYBODY know how to swap power for manual door guts?

I'd love to know also. There's got to be a tech article somewhere on the web. I've got two doors I want to do. I do know it's super easy to remove the manual assembly, but haven't tackled swapping the power stuff from one door to the other. I have heard that the lift arm on the power rack is under spring tension and will bite you if not careful.

I've got rust free doors to put on my coupe but i don't wanna bother with the power stuff. These doors i think were originally manual too because they have nuts/bolts in place of where the rivets normally are....i just need to know how to go about gutting everything and getting it all back together.

It IS basically just removing the power motors, (remove them through the speaker holes) the rivets/bolts and working the arm out of the bottom of the window and then out of the opening. The arm is spring loaded, so be careful with it. Then pull the wiring and put the plug in the door and install the manual regulator in it's place. I swapped my manual doors to power years ago.

Good luck.
