Dude, there are 15 stations devoted to various genres of rock, not to mention stations devoted to a decade's worth of music for the 70's, 80's and the 90's. You must have a pretty narrow field of interest.

My wife and I have been listening to XM since six months after it came out. We've got it in three of our cars plus a MyFi portable unit for in the house or on the go. Check out the channel lineup. There's something for every musical taste and it's all commercial-free. If you like talk nonono: ) you've got your choice of all different kinds of crap. The comedy channels are great. As a big plus, if you're a subscriber you can listen to it for free on the net at home or work. They also offer a free three day trial on the net if you want to check it out before you subscribe. For me, the coolest thing is being able to listen to static-free music of my choice anywhere on the road. If I want to listen to comedy while driving from Seattle to LA, I can do it. If I want to listen to the greatest hits of the sixties for 10 hours straight on the road, I can do it. No searching around for the next station to come in and no listening to the same six CD's over and over.

XM rocks. Check it out.

I have XM as well, and I love it. I took all my CD's out of my car as well, I don't listen to them much these days. I don't even use my IPOD much anymore. There's a lot of stations, and almost anyone can find at least a few that they like. Plus there's no commercials, and they can play and say whatever the f**k they want

I have sirrius and love it. XM is good as well, they are basically the same.

I have the playback model, which records 45mins of what you have been listening to so you can pause the radio, or even rewind. You program in 20 of your favorite songs and it alerts you when they come on. The unit is more expensive, and larger, but can be transfered from the car to home/work easily. At first I thought I wasted my money when the basic kit is $50, but now I'm glad.

The pro's are the programming. Not only so many music stations, but the comody is great. Sirrius has "Blue Collar Radio" which is nessasary for sanity for us politically incorrect. If you like Howard Stern we have two stations of him. All are UNSENSORED.

The cons is that it takes a couple seconds when you change stations, and it takes a minute for the programming list to load when you turn it on. It's annoying when freinds who don't know the system try to find something, because they alwasys get lost. 140+ channels.

Humm... I must have a narrow genre, because they play nothing main stream or NEW.

Every since putting sirius in, i don't listen to AM/FM or CD's as much. I only listen to a CD if it's new, but 90% of the time i have it on sirius.

STation 1, 20,21, 33 and 36 are my favs.

I went for the replay unit. It stores 45 minutes of music so if i have to run into the store i can pause the live play or even rewind and listen to a song over and over again. Plus you can store songs in memory so whenever it comes on any channel you get an alert and can switch over to it. I beleive there are 180 channels...have yet to listen to them all.

Different look than Fox, but i went the extra mile to get a custom mount and a kit to hardwire it directly to the Mach 460
