I have neither. I like some dogs, but im allergic to all of them, so that gives me a good reason to not get one. I really dont want to clean up after anything pooping or puking that isnt my future child. There is a lady in my neighborhood that walks her cat and dog with her husband every day, so i use that as my reason to tell my lady that if we get a cat we will become those people...

One time i left my garage door open overnight though and i went in there like 2 days later to finish suspension work. So im in there, have the radio cranking, just picking away at a K-member swap, and i hear a cat MEOW. So i dont think too much of it, thinking its the radio. So then i hear it like 3 more times, shut the radio off, and start looking for a cat. I find nothing in the garage and think im going nuts in the process. So about 15 minutes later i hear it again, louder this time, and look in the car, and this cat is just chilling in my back seat, cat hair all over the interior. The strangest thing was the cat was like a carbon copy of my old cat Gizmo i had when i lived at my mom's house. I opened the car door, cat ran away and i never saw the cat again.

LOL. A cat would do you a WORLD of good IMO. hahaha

I would LOVE to read the stories of all the 90lxcoupe vs. Housecat interactions.

Maybe we could get @madmike to write it and @Morgan_Freeman to narrate!!!!

Never been into dogs. They require too much of your time and smell bad. I've had one dog and wasn't that into it. We currently have 4 cats. Ideally we would like to have 2, but it's like there is a neon "sucker" light that comes on in my back yard every 6 months and a new one shows up.

@Noobz347, i cant think of a worse animal than a cat to have as a pet. I like other peoples cats, but i couldnt be bothered with owning one. Kinda like a kid to me, its fun to hold, hang out with, but once they start pooping or crying, i can give them back to the responsible parties lol.

The fiance keeps on me about getting a cat, luckily her friend just got a cat, and is quickly becoming a crazy car lady, so i figure between her crazy cat lady friend and that wackjob in the neighborhood that walks her cat in a little cat stroller(how did i forget to mention that), i can keep the cat requests at bay for a while

We have 2 cats and 2 dogs We also have a fenced yard and a pet door that they can go in and out when they please, no human assistance required.

I like the cats best, always have: even better, the cats like me. They come when I call them, and they spend time with me even when they don't want anything. The fat girl cat sometimes sleeps between my computer monitor and keyboard. The small bobtail boy cat sleeps curled up behind my knees at night. Both of them talk to me, but since I don't speak cat, I don't understand what they are saying.

Cats are like a beautiful woman: They are independent, and they choose who they like. That choice isn't necessarily because they get goodies and attention. It is because they perceive that there is something that they like about that person.

When I was growing up we had dogs and cats. A pure bred German Shepard (Tonka) and a Cocker Spaniel (Willie). They were best buds. The Cocker Spaniel would go out and start fights and the German Shepard would come in and finish the fight. My dad had to get rid of the Spaniel after he took on 3 Siberian Husky's by himself one day and got his guts ripped open. My sister always had cats. Somehow the dogs and cats always got along. Right now I have neither. If I had to have a pet it would be a cat. I can leave the house for a weekend or more (which I do most weeks) and as long as the food dish is full and the toilet seat is up along with a clean cat-box, the cat will be just fine by themselves. Try that with a dog, within the first hr. the dog will eat all the food and then the next 2 days are downhill from there. You either have to put the dog up at a kennel, take it with you or get someone else to watch it. Right now not having a pet works out the best.

Family has dogs. We have 4 total between my parents and 2 sisters. One of my sisters has a Cane Corso that has been shown (and won) various shows and Westminster.

I personally prefer cats, but don't have any right now. I'm just never home and although I know a cat wouldn't mind that as much, i just don't want to leave a cat alone for 24-36 hours at a time.

I keep fish. Have an Oscar in a 75G tank and currently setting up a 40gal Reef tank.

I have 2 boxers although one passed away last October from Cushings disease. His name was Crush, he was awesome. He's the brindle boxer in the picture, Casper is the white one. I love dogs, don't care much for cats.

My son when he was 2 fell asleep on Casper.
